Our Nephew Bram den Hartog ran the TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday November 2nd. He didn’t expect to be the first over the finish line, but he ran a very good race with an average of 11:18 minutes per mile consistently with a total time of 4 hours, 55 minutes and 57 seconds. Bram ran this Marathon in honour of the Beatrix Children’s Hospital in Groningen, the Netherlands. He raised a total of €5,647 (euros) for this foundation, so that children’s wellbeing and care is warranted through innovation, stress- and fear reduction and scientific research.
We are very proud of Bram to have done this 26.2 mile marathon along with tens of thousands of people from across the world!!
